The lodge comprises just ten beautifully appointed, fully air-conditioned rooms including 5
\nfreestanding Superior Suites and 5 Luxury Rooms. D\u00e9cor is a mix of contemporary design,
\nwith a truly authentic African feel<\/a>, using neutral colours and natural textures that reflect life,
\nrenewal, nature and energy \u2013 whilst ensuring that the views over the Zambezi take centre
\nstage from all areas of the lodge. The main guest areas offer both indoor and outdoor private
\ndining facilities and a fabulous sun deck with infinity pool and a lower deck for spectacular
\ngame viewing. Private in-room spa treatments can also be booked.<\/p>\n

The Lower Zambezi National Park is best enjoyed from both land and water and is known for
\nits great sightings of wild dog, elephant, leopard, lion, hippo, buffalo, zebra and kudu to name
\nbut a few. Two daily guided activities are included each day \u2013 be it an open 4\u00d74 game drive,
\nwalking safari or sundowner cruise in their dedicated pontoon boat.<\/p>\n

Birding is also a major drawcard with many potential \u201clifers\u201d to tick off on its birding list. Many guests also take the opportunity to do a little adrenaline-pumping catch and release tiger fishing. Guests can also enjoy a cultural village tour.<\/p>\n

Zambezi Grande is family-owned with a firm commitment to conservation and community \u2013
\nemploying and empowering local people, giving a sustainable source of revenue<\/a> to many
\nhouseholds. Through their Chengetai Projects (meaning preserve in Gova Language), guests
\ncan help plant trees as well as support the education and inspiration the next generation of
\nconservationists in the area.<\/p>\n

Rates start from around USD 800 per person sharing off peak (April, May and Nov) in a luxury Room or USD 1,100 in a Superior Suite. Peak season (June \u2013 October) rates are USD 950 and USD 1,390\u00a0respectively. The lodge closes for the rainy season from 1 December to 31
\nMarch each year. \u00a0Children from 12 \u2013 15 years pay 70% of adult rate (there are 2 sets of
\ninterconnected Luxury rooms).<\/p>\n
